AMERICAN GREETINGS currently has an opportunity available for an Area Supervisor in the Savannah, GA and surrounding area. Geographic boundaries are:
North: Beaufort, SC
South: Kingsland, GA
West: Vidalia, GA
East: Savannah, GA
As part of the Field Sales Operations team, you will:
-manage a territory which includes 200+ retail accounts primarily consisting of supermarkets, mass channel and drug accounts
-develop and maintain strong working relationships with store management
-hire, train and supervise a staff of 45+ part-time merchandisers responsible for merchandising all American Greetings products within the assigned account space
-plan and conduct account calls to increase sales
-some overnight travel is required
RELOCATION IS REQUIRED FOR PROMOTION TO THE NEXT LEVEL.
Experience:
4 year college degree. Strong PC skills, retail management experience. American Greetings has a proven record of promoting from within; the successful candidate will have the opportunity for growth and advancement within the organization.
