Job Description :

Position Purpose:

Helps plan, coordinate and accomplish activities which ensure timely and cost efficient completion of departmental goals and objectives. Provide assistance to team members on daily activities.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

1. Performs a variety of skilled tasks in the repair, maintenance, modification, calibration of tools, gages, meters, instruments, etc., associated with the aerospace industry.

2. Performs other duties as assigned.

Operating Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

Minimum Training & Education Requirements:

1. High School graduate, GED, or equivalent experience.

2. Six (6) years combined education and experience with working knowledge in mechanical or electronic repairs or equivalent demonstrated repair abilities.

3. Demonstrated electrical / mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and comprehend blueprints, schematics and perform technical procedures. Good math skills required.

4. Must posses a valid Georgia State driver s license

5. Good computer skills required along with the ability to maintain accurate electronic records utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and other specialized software programs.

Minimum Experience Requirements:

1. Four (4) years experience maintaining industrial process control instrumentation with working knowledge of electronic test equipment such as meters oscilloscopes, digital gages, temperature probes, pressure transducers, etc. or equivalent combination of experience or aptitude.

2. Ability to use hand tools, measuring instruments, and other equipment necessary for job performance

Communication Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills are required.
