Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Seeking an Ecologist in Atlanta with a minimum of 3 years experience in wetland delineations, plant systematic, threatened and endangered species surveys, and stream and biological assessments.

* Experience in the Southeastern US is a must.

* Knowledge of natural systems, excellent written and verbal skills and a working knowledge of MS word and Excel.

* Field and office duties will include: wetland delineations, species surveys, stream assessments, report preparation, data analysis, etc

* NEPA experience, GIS skills, Georgia DOT pre-certifications and soil survey experience is a plus.

* Must have excellent knowledge of local / regional flora and fauna.

Basic and Required Qualifications:
* Minimum years of experience: 3-5
* Education required: BS in an Environmental related field
* Skills required: knowledge of local / regional flora and fauna, experience working as an Ecologist in the Southeast, must be able to perform field work to include rough terrain and physically demanding conditions (heat, humidity and insects), as well as work in the office

Additional and Preferred Qualifications:
* Education preferred: MS in an Environmental related field
* Registrations/Certifications preferred: PWS, GDOT ecology certifications
* Years experience preferred: 4-6
* Skills preferred: GIS, capable of being a filed lead, familiarity with GDOT required documentation

* This position does requires travel. Travel amount isup to 25% overnight travel is a requirement of this position.
* A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required for this position.
* This position does not manage others.
