3M's Traffic Safety Systems Division is currently seeking a Facilities Manager for our new facility in Atlanta, GA.

This job involves the hiring and managing of all personnel in the facility and being the main contact person with the State, 3M, and subcontractor personnel. You will also be responsible for all shipping and receiving at the facility and the main contact for all USPS and UPS inquiries. Must be able to handle a demanding production schedule with a strong attention to detail

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Ensuring that products are manufactured on schedule, and within quality standards and cost objectives, and within 3M Environmental, Health, and Safety guidelines

*
Implement manufacturing standards and defines guidelines for assigned area(s)

*
Determine directions, priorities and assigns resources with full accountability for results

*
Establish and manage budgets for equipment, materials and personnel

*
Plant Liaison - Serve as primary contact to the State, 3M and subcontractor personnel proactively working in an effort to anticipate their current and future needs

*
Enhances and sustains excellent customer relations

Qualifications

Basic/Minimum Qualifications:

* Minimum High School Diploma/GED required
* Minimum seven (7) years of manufacturing experience is required
* Current certification for driving pallet truck is required

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor degree is preferred
* Proficiency with a computer is desired
* Fluency in MS Office products is preferred
