ARCADIS is seeking a highly experienced, business savvy, IT professional to serve as an internal account manager reporting to CIO with dotted line to one or more division presidents.

Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to the following:
* Acts as liaison between division and Information Technology understanding the divisions business sufficiently to communicate the importance of projects to the technology teams, as well as to understanding the technology sufficiently to communicate the complexity in simple terms for the division.
* Serves as IT advocate educating division on IT role, available services and manages demand from the division.
* Serves as division advocate helping focus IT on most important issues in the division, educating IT on future needs of the division and directing IT strategy in support of the overall division strategy.
* Acts as strategic consultant gaining a deep understanding of the business, capturing/building business capability roadmap, assisting IT in building IT strategies and plans and driving cross division solutions.
* Ensures that the most appropriate technologies are being used by the right people. Identifies opportunities for operational efficiency.
* Work with divisions to understand project requirements, shape the initial project request, ensure that projects align with the technology that best provides maximum return on investment, provide high-level estimates of the project effort, costs and benefits and shepherding the project through the approval process.

Basic and Required Qualifications:
* Minimum years of experience: 10 plus years of relevant IT and business work experience
* Education required: Technology related BS
* Skills required:
* Business savvy IT person or IT savvy business person
* Experience with developing business justification models
* Strong executive level communications skills with the ability to explain a broad set of IT terms and technologies to executives who are not technical
* Must be a strategic thinker, good relationship building skills, self starter, problem solver, good business analysis skills, understanding of broad set of IT terms and technologies.
* Approachable, good consulting skills, process oriented, professional demeanor, business plan development.
* Must be able to develop trust, bridge the gap between IT terms and business needs setting strategic direction.
* A people person with strong leadership skills.
* This position does require travel. Travel amount is up to 50%.
* A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required for this position.

Additional and Preferred Qualifications:
* Education preferred: Technology related MS or MBA
* Years experience preferred: 15 - 20 years of relevant IT and business work experience

* This position does not manage others.
