Jobing Description
The Process Engineer must have excellent teamwork and problem-solving sckills. This position will involve active team participation during the product development phase to incorporate manufacturability/assembly features as well as responsibility for successful transition into production. Through product requirement identification and professional process knowledge, the selected candidate will have the opportunity to develop innovative solutions for assembly production processes. The Process Engineer must evaluate, identify, and implement innovative and cost-reductive improvements via the manufacturing process and process re-engineering.
In addition, this position will be responsible for the execution of continuous improvement/operational excellence initiatives. These initiatives will be an ongoing task and will require direct interface with all production, purchasing, quality, engineering, technical, and management associates.
Preferred Education and Experience:

BS degree - mechanical engineering preferred.
*
Minimum of 3 years of experience with plastic processing with a main focus on extrusion (knowledge of PLC controls and processes).
*
Autocad knowledge and experience.
*
Knowledge of pigments, dyes and polymers used in masterbatch formulation a plus.
*
Good interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills.
*
Great organizational skills including multitasking, planning, and meeting deadlines.
*
Capacity to take ownership of projects from start to finish.
*
Computer skills in Microsoft products and spreadsheets.
*
Teamwork.
*
Results Driven.
*
Intelligent, advanced learning abilities, problem-solving skills, and people skills.
*
Bi-lingual is a plus (Spanish)
