Working as a Sr. Sales Operations Manager, You will supervise the work of subordinate employees and manage the sales process or operational change efforts.
Additional Responsibilities:
Manages an organization that is responsible for product, sales process or operational changes in support of sales efforts.
Councils organization regarding changes to policies, establishes procedures and communicates to the field.
Oversees issues of diverse scope, analyzing current situation or data with multiple factors, including an understanding of current business trends.
Responsible for one or more functional areas, projects or initiatives.
Collaborates and contributes with sales operations and regional sales leadership in the planning, readiness and execution of initiatives including defining the training and communication requirements for the assigned channels.
Ensures the readiness of the customer operations organization
Responsible for multiple sub functions such as program execution, sales planning, performance reporting and sales compensation to include strategy and execution where appropriate.
Supervisory responsibilities include directing the daily work activities of employees, directing employee training, evaluating performance and writing performance reviews, taking disciplinary action as needed, and influencing decisions regarding hiring, firing and promotion.
Skills / Requirements
- Six or more months of experience in data collection, tracking and analysis
- Strong leadership, organizing and planning skills
- Ability to influence/persuade others
- Must have strong analytical skills to collect, compile, organize, track and analyze data
- Must have strong problem solving skills
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and communication skills (oral, written and presentation)
- Two or more years successful sales management experience
- One or more years experience in sales and operational planning
- Two or more years working in an advertising and media sales environment
- Two or more years experience in a sales related position that includes sales objectives
- One or more years in marketing management
- One or more years working in a training and development environment
- Knowledge of company policies, sales operations and departmental functions
- Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
