Overall Job Objective


Pay Grade: J

Job Responsibilities

 Under supervision, provides professional nursing care in accordance with nurse protocols, policies, and/or procedures. Functions as an expanded role nurse providing patient care consistent with patient's level of need. Utilizes the EMR system to accurately document patient care and enter billing information for reimbursement. Orders and dispenses medications based on nursing assessment and according to established nurse protocol.  Will serve as patient advocate and refer patients to community partners or private physicians, when indicated.  Note: Travel is Required. This position will float between Quitman Co. and Clay Co. Health Departments.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate's degree/diploma in Nursing from an accredited college AND Completion of a PHN course within One year of hire AND Current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license AND CPR certification. Note: No experience required.
