Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM Cloud Integration is looking for an inspired Learning Architect who possesses a balance of business knowledge, education experience, and strong interpersonal skills. This role provides an excellent opportunity for you to be part of a new and rapidly growing business which helps our clients build the Cloud skills they need to transform their organizations.
This new role will have high visibility and significant customer impact. You will partner with several IBM teams to craft learning paths to educate our customers and have the opportunity to help shape and execute a strategy for new educational content and services.

What you’ll do…
  • Architect and design sophisticated client education solutions
  • Architect innovative education offerings which gives IBM Cloud Integration a leadership position
  • Oversee the delivery of learning content on rapidly changing technologies
  • Understand changing client needs (e.g. move to subscription-based education offerings) and drive solutions to meet those requirements
  • Understand competitive offerings and positioning
  • Work closely with Offering Management and Marketing to develop and position offerings
  • Program Manage the successful implementation of offerings including instructor enablement
  • Work with 3rd party training providers to qualify their needs and develop new offerings
  • Demonstrate a subject matter expertise across education and learning, IBM Cloud solutions, industry knowledge and competitive differentiators
  • You will execute on training programs that include delivering training to customers and partners
  • Help develop product positioning, value propositions and messaging that resonate with the buying audience in close cooperation with the Global Cloud marketing team
  • Create collateral, whitepapers, presentations, social content posts to position our education offerings in the market

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Learning & Development and/or: Education, Adult Learning, eLearning
  • User Experience knowledge
  • Understanding of Offering/Product Management processes
  • Experience with industry standard methods and concepts such as Kirkpatrick, HCI, micro-learning, gamification, chatbots, etc.
  • Exemplary communication skills (oral, written, copyediting)
  • Able to work well with multiple levels in the organization, including senior executive
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications; Internet and technology savvy
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree
  • This position allows for remote work with some travel

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
  • Ability to analyze complex/new situations, anticipate potential problems and future trends, assess opportunities, impacts, and risks
  • Experience in corporate communications
  • Experience building enterprise level learning paths
  • Demonstrated experience in building highly technical training in a variety of applications such as eLearning, on-demand, instructor-led-online (ILO), instructor-led-training (ILT), blended learning, job aides, etc.
  • Prior experience managing and driving complex customer engagements in order to understand what is required to deliver at scale
  • Experience collaborating directly with technical subject matter experts and IT leadership
