Sales acceleration team has a mission to develop and drive programs that accelerate sales and scale.  Specifically, this team focuses on developing programs that provide velocity and scale, so the sellers can locate and close more deals faster, and a multiplier effect to fill the sales funnel.  This role is responsible for new business development activities for IBM offerings, focusing on selected client segmentations.  This role leads creation and execution of the business development plans, which include
  • Developing and implementing a targeting strategy,
  • Defining the best way to approach prospecting,
  • Generating leads and qualifying them,
  • Developing client presentation,
  • Ensuring business development assets (offerings, pitch materials, and so on) are aligned with IBM Strategy and differentiated, and
  • Following-up prospective clients
This role requires:
  • Ability to capture client needs by proactive account analysis, and put together value proposition and offerings of IBM solutions
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to create and present information to variety of audiences
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent in data handling, chart development, and presentation
Required Expertise
  • Minimum 5-6 years in IT industry and/or marketing
Preferred Expertise
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in proposal writing and presentation
  • Sales or Business Develop experience
