Accounting Officer (Savannah, GA) F/T. Examine, analyze, & interpret acctg records to prepare fin'l statements, give advice, or audit & evaluate statements. Install or advise on systems of recording costs or other fin'l & budgetary data. Collect & analyze data to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance w/ laws, regulations, & mgmt policies. Ensure proper payment of multiple sub-contractors, vendors & maintenance of detailed fin'l records. Analyze & propose fin'l budgets. Record revenues & expenses.
