Staff Data & Information Architect (multi positions) sought by General Electric Company for Atlanta, GA location to participate in data domain tech & biz discussions rel to future architect direction. Implement logical / physical data models that support best practices & write code that meets standards & deliver desired functionality using tech selected for the project. Perform a variety of data loads & data transformations w/creating for parsing, formatting & transforming data into units consistent w/analytical needs. Assist in analysis, design & dev of a roadmap, design pattern & implementation based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.  Gather & analyze data & develop architectural reqts at project level.  Bachelor's deg, or foreign deg equiv, in Comp Sci or Eng, & 6 yrs progressively responsible post-Bachelor's deg exp in rel occup req'd. Position requires:  Combined 6 yrs exp working w/various big data tech such as Hive,  Greenplum, HVR, Talend & various AWS service offering; 3 yrs exp w/visualization tools such as Tableau or QlikView; 6 yrs exp using Scripting tech (Pig, Python or Perl, etc.); 6 yrs exp w/logical & physical data models, big data storage architecture, data modelling methodologies, metadata mgmt, master data mgmt, or data lineage & data profiling; 4 yrs exp supporting Analytics Program Manager (APM) in their data reqts & solutions; & 6 yrs exp managing, guiding & directing Data Engineers in implementing analytics solutions.  Apply at www.GECareers.com & search Job #R3658693.
