Job Description
This is an opportunity to work on the Labs and Technical Services (L&TS) Systems Engineering team. L&TS is a highly innovative team responsible for developing, testing and maintaining aircraft simulation systems and subsystems utilized for aircraft capability integration and weapons systems development from concept design through production and delivery.

This position is for an integration engineer assigned to the L&TS Air Mobility and Maritime Missions (AMMM) team. The primary responsibility of this position is to support hardware, software and system integration activities associated with C-130, C-5, P-3 and other simulation capabilities. Other tasks may include analyzing system requirements and system designs, developing test plan strategies, developing test procedures, performing test execution, conducting reviews and performing configuration management of artifacts and products. Strong communication skills are needed to collaborate with team members and other stakeholders.

Must be a US citizen. This position requires special access and will require a Secret security clearance.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.

- Experience performing system integration on complex systems.

- Experience with configuration of Linux systems.

- Experience with software coding and scripting languages, including Ada and/or C/C++.

Desired skills
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.

- Experience performing system requirements development, system design development and/or verification on complex systems.

- Experience working in a laboratory environment and/or aircraft simulation.

- Experience with requirements and configuration management tools, including DOORS, Dimensions and/or JIRA.

- Experience with hardware and software diagnostics tools.

- Strong problem solving skills.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.

- Strong work ethic, ability to work with limited supervision, self-motivated.
