Priority Commercial Payments delivers industry leading solutions and services for integrating commercial accounts payable and a full suite of targeted supplier activation services. We work directly with organizations and in partnership with financial institutions, card networks and other marketplace partners. Priority unleashes potential value within the payments ecosystem by enabling buyers to benefit from discounts, rebates and incentives, and suppliers to benefit from cash acceleration. 

Priority Commercial Payments is looking for a highly experienced Senior Sales Executive to spearhead direct sales initiatives. This person must have a true hunter and closer mentality and exhibit a high sense of urgency on the job. This person will work independently, and must be able to do so with limited to no supervision. Deep knowledge of commercial (business to business) payment methods, integrated payables solutions and supplier/merchant acceptance is required.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Achieve or exceed aggressive sales targets established by management
  • Drive pipeline development and pipeline review process
  • Be an internal expert on product specifications, features, functions and end user benefits
  • Ability to identify potential clients and close sale quickly with little to no assistance
  • Provide leadership and training for sales referral partners
  • Solid track record of managing multi-million dollar, multi-location programs, revenue and business growth
  • Be able to manage a high volume pipeline of ~50 clients
  • Exhibit a high level of flexibility and be able to pivot between client needs and other tasks seamlessly
  • Maintain a high sense of urgency at all times

  • Excellent rapport building and communication skills with a diverse group of Buyers, Customers and Management at all levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Understanding of commercial (business to business) payments competitive landscape is required
  • Experience selling integrated payables solutions strongly preferred
  • Push payments, ACH and/or treasury sales experience preferred
  • Proven, successful track record in B2B sales

Traditional Physical Requirements

  • Must be willing to travel 25%
