Join us in keeping pets happy and healthy in Lithonia, GA!

Vetco is looking for Relief Veterinarians to work at our short duration vaccination clinics in over 1000 Petco locations worldwide. Are you a DVM who would like:

  • A flexible way to practice while earning supplemental income?
  • Online scheduling system and online medical record keeping?
  • To decide where and when you pick up shifts?

If you answered yes and are as obsessed as we are about keeping pets happy and healthy, apply today!!

A division of Petco Animal Supplies, Inc., we provide preventative care services for healthy canines and felines at Petco stores in multiple states with more to come. For over 15 years, we have been a leader in pet health care with our expanding network of vaccine clinics. Aspiring to provide a positive, affordable, professional health care option for pet owners, we protect over 750,000 cats and dogs each year. Rather than having a permanent presence, these clinics function like pop-ups inside Petco stores during convenient evening and weekend hours. Here, pet parents can access a variety of preventative care services, including vaccinations, puppy and kitten packages, flea and tick products, microchip services, heartworm testing and medicine, and deworming.

As a Relief Veterinarian at Vetco, you are the foundation of our company's ability to reach pet owners at convenient locations and times. You'll love that you get to sign up for as few or as many shifts as you desire according to your own lifestyle needs and you will not have to worry about the management or administration of the clinic.

Our friendly, well-trained teams will take care of all aspects of the general operation of the clinics, so you can focus on the clients and the pets! You get to educate clients about preventative care, perform basic wellness checkups, administer vaccines and do testing for parasite prevention. You'll love interacting with all kinds of people and pets during your shift!

  • Doctor of veterinary medicine
  • Professional Liability Insurance
  • You genuinely care for pets, your fellow team members, and customers.

If you're feeling excited about this Relief Veterinarian position, please fill out our initial 3-minute, mobile-friendly application. You can also email Samantha Nelson at to get more information and quickly apply.  We look forward to meeting you!!
